In our fast-paced, consumerist culture, there is a great need for a more robust understanding of discipleship through spiritual formation. Many reduce discipleship to attending church services, participating in programs, and acquiring knowledge, but this falls short of the deep transformation that God desires for us.
Spiritual formation offers a more holistic approach to discipleship that recognizes the importance of both our inner and outer lives. It challenges us to move beyond a superficial faith that is based on external actions and invites us to cultivate a deeper, more authentic relationship with God.
