About the event
2027 Celtic Pilgrimage to the Island of Iona
August 7–14, 2027
Join us for a week on the Island of Iona, Scotland, a historic and spiritual pilgrimage site founded by Saint Columba in 543AD. This pilgrimage will offer the opportunity to learn about Celtic spirituality while you experience it on the island. Iona is a “thin space”, a beautiful place where the veil between heaven and earth is very thin.
Registration will open late summer 2026. Space is limited.
Housing is in a retreat house on Iona. Meals are provided while on retreat. Air and ferry transportation, and other expenses, are on your own. Potential extended pilgrimages to the holy island of Lindisfarne, the island of Inchcolm near Edinburgh, and Durham, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a place of historic significance for pilgrimages, will be offered based on interest.
Stay tuned as details unfold.
