About the event
A Celtic Pilgrimage to the Island of Iona and other Historic Sites
August 7–23, 2027
Join us for a pilgrimage that includes a week on the island of Iona. Iona is a historic and spiritual site. Founded by St. Columba in 543 A.D. This pilgrimage offers the opportunity to learn about Celtic spirituality, and Celtic Saints, while you explore the beauty and wonder of this island.
Iona is a "thin space", a beautiful place where the veil between heaven and earth is very thin after a week on the island. This pilgrimage will continue going to Edinburgh, Melrose Abbey, Jedburg Abbey, Dryburgh Abbey, and the historic UNESCO site of the city of Durham and Durham Cathedral.
On this pilgrimage, we will worship and the Iona Abbey, Saint Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh, and Durham Cathedral.
